For our new foster bunny at the end of January, we volunteered to raise a litter of baby bunnies (and their mom) that were at the Fairfax shelter. They are, of course, impossibly cute. It's been lots of fun so far. Since we have Mom, they're not difficult to care for. They nurse sometime in the middle of the night, though they're also eating solid food, and all we have to do is keep the food and water dishes filled with the ever-increasing amount they consume, and admire them.
First day home:
Rory, the runt:
Greens are good!
We are intermittently documenting their progress with photos and video, if you want more.
